Outside Vince McMahon's office is a popular spot for Superstars looking to return to TV and Steve Cutler revealed during a recent interview with Fightful Select that he was often in line to see the boss in 2020.

Cutler was a part of The Forgotten Sons last year and after a brief stint on SmackDown, they were pulled from TV following pro-Trump tweets from Jaxson Ryker during the George Floyd riots. Cutler and Wesley Blake would later return to SmackDown as King Corbin's Knights of the Lone Wolf, but they would disappear again in the new year after Cutler tested positive for COVID-19. Cutler was then released by the company in February.

Before he was repackaged as a Knight Of The Lone Wolf, Cutler noted to Fightful he was outside of Vince McMahon's office so much he was informed not to wait there anymore. He was told to wait in catering instead and he would be grabbed when the chairman had time to see him.

Eventually, Cutler had a meeting with Bruce Prichard, who pitched the Knights Of The Lone Wolf idea and this led to a second meeting with both Prichard and McMahon.

While waiting outside Vince's office, Cutler noted he received encouragement from Bayley who said he was doing the right thing.
