During a marathon taping in Des Moines, Iowa...

Last night, WWE taped both the December 16th and December 23rd episodes of Monday Night Raw at the Wells Fargo Center in Des Moines, Iowa.
During the tapings, two NXT Superstars made their main roster debuts. On last night's episode, Deonna Purrazzo went one-on-one with Asuka. Purrazzo was able to get some offence in against the Women's Tag Team champion, but she ultimately succumbed to the Asuka Lock in under five minutes.
Since being signed by WWE in May 2018, Purrazzo has only appeared sporadically on TV. She debuted in the company in the 2018 Mae Young Classic, where she made it to the quarter-finals before losing to Io Shirai. Purrazzo made her NXT debut on August 18th 2018 in a losing effort to Bianca Belair. The Virtuosa has also competed in NXT UK, where she faced Rhea Ripley for the NXT UK Women's Championship on December 26th 2018. The following week she lost to Toni Storm.
Chelsea Green also made her main roster debut last night.
During the taping set to air on December 23rd, she came up short against 10-time Women's champion Charlotte Flair. Unlike Purrazzo, Green has never made an appearance on an episode of NXT, and has only competed at house shows for the brand.
