During this weekend’s post Hard To Kill IMPACT Wrestling TV taping sessions, Deonna Purrazzo took on ROH Women’s World Champion Rok-C for the title, with ‘The Virtuosa’ winning the belt.

The win makes Purrazzo a double champion, with the current AAA Reina de Reyas Champion becoming the second ever ROH Women’s World Champion in the process.

This win will take the sting out of Purrazzo’s Knockouts Championship loss against Champion Mickie James in a Texas Deathmatch at Hard To Kill on Saturday night, but will be a bitter pill for Rok-C to swallow, with this being her IMPACT Wrestling debut.

Post-match, the ROH renegade group consisting of OGK, Vincent, PCO, and Maria Kannellis confronted Purrazzo, leading to Mathew Rehwoldt and Willie Mack to unsuccessfully try and fight off the insurgent group.

The match was announced by IMPACT President Scott D’Amore on the December 30 edition of IMPACT Wrestling, and is set to air on the January 13 edition of IMPACT, with Rehwoldt and ROH’s Ian Riccaboni providing commentary for the bout.

Thanks to Impact Asylum for the taping results.
