SPOILER: Title Vs. Career Match Set For IMPACT 1000

A legendary pro wrestling career could be coming to an end in the next couple of weeks.

IMPACT Wrestling held their post-Emergence set of TV tapings on Monday, August 28 at the Rebel Entertainment Center in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The tapings were used to tape shows in the build to Victory Road on September 8 and the 1000th episode of IMPACT TV on September 9 and IMPACT 1000 is set to feature a major match.

During the taping for this week's IMPACT, Tommy Dreamer said he would put his career on the line against Kenny King at IMPACT 1000 for a shot at the IMPACT Digital Media Championship. King ultimately agreed and it will be Tommy Dreamer vs. Kenny King in a Title vs. Career Match at the September 9 taping.

Tommy Dreamer has been wrestling since 1989 and he has had memorable runs in ECW and WWE. Alongside his role as an in-ring talent, Dreamer is a part of the IMPACT Wrestling creative team.

Kenny King has been IMPACT Digital Media Champion since he defeated Joe Hendry for the gold at Slammiversary in July.

Other matches announced for IMPACT 1000 include Eddie Edwards & Alisha Edwards vs. Frankie Kazarian & Traci Brooks, and the in-ring reunion of Team 3D.
