Special Guest Referee Added To WWE NXT No Mercy Main Event

With days to go until NXT No Mercy on September 1, WWE have announced that a special guest referee will be calling the action during the night’s main event.

NXT Champion Ethan Page will be putting his title on the line against TNA’s Joe Hendry, and now former NXT Champion Trick Williams will be donning the zebra stripes to hopefully call the action right down the middle. Williams was inserted into the match by NXT GM Ava on the August 27 edition of NXT, with two additional matches for No Mercy confirmed on the show.

Former Rascalz partners Wes Lee and Zachary Wentz are set to clash after Lee’s heel turn, whilst Kelani Jordan will put the NXT Women’s North American Championship on the line against Wendy Choo on the show.
