Dec 14, 2019
Friday night's episode of SmackDown from Milwaukee saw a near-record low in viewership for the show in its run on FOX, while sinking to new lows in the demographics.
Showbuzz Daily
reports that Friday's episode of SmackDown averaged 2,339,000 viewers, the second-worst number that the show has done on the FOX Network.
The only episode with lower viewership was the one that aired on Black Friday, November 29, which did only 3000 less viewers (2,336,000).
Friday's show was down four percent from last week's 2,446,000 average.
SmackDown averaged 2,420,000 viewers for the first hour, and 2,257,000 viewers for the second.
The demographic ratings prove a little more harrowing. In the 18-49 demo, SmackDown scored a 0.65 rating, its worst ever on FOX, and down from last week's 0.70.
The 18-34 demo did a 0.40 rating, tied for the worst on FOX with the November 15 episode, and down from last week's 0.45 number.
The 25-54 rating also fell to a new low, dropping to a 0.80 rating, down from last week's 0.90.
SmackDown has averaged 2.65 million viewers a week across ten episodes on FOX, as well as a 0.83 rating in the 18-49 demo. However, the last four shows alone have averaged 2.43 million viewers and a 0.71 demo rating, respectively.
