Shotzi To Challenge For NXT Women's Championship

A main roster WWE superstar will once again be stepping up to challenge for an NXT Championship.

On an NXT live event last night, Friday Night SmackDown’s Shotzi showed up to team up with Gigi Dolin to take on the duo of Tatum Paxley and the NXT Women’s Champion Lyra Valkyria. Shotzi and Dolin picked up the victory, and this has earned Shotzi a shot at the NXT Women’s Championship gold which will mark her first ever match for the belt. During her time in NXT, Shotzi did become one half of the NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions alongside Ember Moon, but never found singles success.

This title match has been made official for the upcoming February 13 episode of NXT next Tuesday.
