Sheamus Vs. Damian Priest Added To WWE SummerSlam 2021

The WWE United States title will be on the line at SummerSlam, as Sheamus puts the gold on the line against Damian Priest.

Sheamus has been on the losing end of several bouts with Priest over the past several weeks. Priest defeated him in a top contenders match on the July 26 episode of Raw, and he also teamed with Ricochet to defeat Sheamus and John Morrison on last week's Raw.

Sheamus has reigned as United States champion since beating Riddle at WrestleMania 37 on April 11. This will be his first pay-per-view defense of the title.

The current card for WWE SummerSlam, taking place Saturday, August 21 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, is as follows:
