Seth Rollins has sustained what could be a serious injury, will be on RAW to address future and status of World Title
Jan 20, 2024
Seth Rollins’ Road To WrestleMania is currently under threat, as the extent of an injury suffered during last week’s World Heavyweight Championship defence on RAW against Jinder Mahal has now been revealed, with it not looking like good news.
After WrestleVotes reported that Rollins was set to address his future and status of the World Heavyweight Title on this upcoming episode of Monday Night RAW, Fightful Select soon addressed Rollins’ condition, revealing that he had sustained a torn MCL and a partially torn meniscus. The report goes on to state that it isn’t known whether Rollins will require surgery, with the hopes being that he will avoid it.
When it comes to surgery, PWInsider followed up on this subject by providing a potential time frame for a return, noting that Rollins could return within 3-4 weeks, with 4-6 being more likely if he does indeed get surgery. Rollins has been removed from advertising for upcoming shows, with Randy Orton replacing him on live events. During Friday Night SmackDown last night, WWE officially announced that Rollins would indeed be on RAW to open up the show and address his future.
We wish the best to Seth Rollins in his recovery ahead of WrestleMania season.
