The Wrld on GCW in New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom certainly produced its fair share of noteworthy moments, such as WWE Hall of Famer Sean Waltman running out during the Matt Cardona vs. Joey Janela brawl to assist Janela in fighting off a reformed Major Players.

Waltman then announced he was dusting off the X-Pac moniker and kickpads to team with Janela against the team of Cardona and Brian Myers at GCW Welcome to Heartbreak, and told Sports Illustrated that he wants to end his in-ring career on his own terms:

“I did pretty well in this industry when I wasn’t clear-headed, so think of what I can do with a healthy mind and healthy body,” Waltman said. “I don’t know how many matches I have left in me, so I’m going to go out there and have some great f****** matches.”

Waltman last wrestled in 2019, and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2019 with D-Generation X, and in 2020 as part of the NWO:

“I want to go out on my terms,” Waltman continued. “My last matches, I was going through the greatest hits. It was all nostalgia. This is going to be different.”
