Samoa Joe Turns Heel On AEW Dynamite

WarJoe is no more.

Samoa Joe and Wardlow have been aligned in All Elite Wrestling in recent months, even teaming together and picking up three wins on TV as WarJoe, but their alliance crumbled on Wednesday's episode of Dynamite.

Tensions had been building between the pair in recent weeks and their issues bubbled over on Dynamite after Wardlow proclaimed to Powerhouse Hobbs that the former Team Taz member wouldn't be TNT Champion, and in fact, Wardlow would capture every title in the company.

Samoa Joe didn't take too kindly to Wardlow's proclamation and he suddenly attacked the TNT Champion from behind with the ROH World Television Title. Joe then choked out Wardlow with the Coquina Clutch to end the segment standing tall.

Samoa Joe has been a part of All Elite Wrestling/Ring of Honor since he returned to ROH at Supercard of Honor in April. He has been a babyface throughout his run so far, although with his usual Samoa Joe mannerisms.
