Samoa Joe Reveals His Favourite 'Nope' Spot

Samoa Joe has won a legion of fans throughout his carer, with his work across Ring of Honor, TNA, WWE, and All Elite Wrestling solidifying Joe as one of the all-time greats.

But for all his incredible in-ring displays, no-one can get enough of his infamous ‘nope’ spots where Joe simply walks off disinterested as his opponent leaps off the top rope in vain.

During a conversation with WrestleZone, Joe was asked about his favourite version of the spot, with Joe saying the following:

“That’s a pretty solid number-one candidate right now, right? I mean, that’s really good,” said Joe talking about his viral ‘nope’ moment with Jon Cruz. “I don’t know why he was so surprised. That’s my only question. He really should have just nodded with acceptance. I think that’s kind of leading the pack right now. But I don’t know; the ones that probably are my favourites they’re unfortunately sprinkled on throughout house shows. And AJ Styles is probably the victim of most of them.”

The AEW World Champion gets a big pop every time he pulls it out of the bag, and has been doing the spot throughout his career.
