On the January 27 episode of Monday Night Raw,

Samoa Joe teamed with Kevin Owens against Seth Rollins & Buddy Murphy for the Raw Tag Team Championships. During the match, Joe hit Murphy with a Suicide Dive but landed awkwardly and instantly grabbed the back of his head. The decision was quickly made by WWE's medical team to remove him from the match and K.O. was left to fight on alone.

Dave Meltzer later confirmed on Wrestling Observer Radio

that The Samoan Submission Machine suffered a concussion, but there was no timescale on his return.

Luckily for WWE's fans, Joe made his return to in-ring action on February 8 at a house show in Oakland, California. He teamed with Kevin Owens to defeat AOP, overcoming interference from both Seth Rollins and Buddy Murphy.

Joe is set to return to Monday Night Raw

on tonight's episode as he looks to pick up where he left off. The former United States Champion will team with Owens & The Viking Raiders against Rollins, Murphy & AOP in an Eight-Man Tag Team match in the main event.
