Sammy Guevera Vs "Pineapple Pete" Sugar Dunkerton Set For This Week's AEW Dynamite

While on commentary on AEW Dynamite this week, Inner Circle leader Chris Jericho took frequent umbrage with veteran indy wrestler Sugar Dunkerton, who was at ringside acting as a makeshift fan. Jericho repeatedly referred to Dunkerton as "Pineapple Pete", due to Dunkerton wearing a colorful pineapple-adorned shirt.

This has now led to a match between Dunkerton and Jericho's favorite minion, Sammy Guevara, on this coming week's episode of Dynamite.

Dunkerton previously wrestled on AEW Dark, losing to Kip Sabian in a match taped last month. This will be his first match on Dynamite.

Throughout his 17-year career, Dunkerton has wrestled for promotions such as CHIKARA, Dragon Gate USA, Beyond Wrestling, and even a handful of bouts for Impact.

The card for Wednesday night's episode of Dynamite (with Jericho once more joining Tony Schiavone on commentary) looks like so:
