Sammy Guevara has been out of action for over two months, last competing back at the WrestleDream PPV event where he and Don Callis Family members defeated the trio of Kenny Omega, Chris Jericho, and Kota Ibushi. He returned on last night’s AEW Dynamite.

The Don Callis Family were in the ring for an interview segment, and Callis revealed some more lovely pieces of artwork celebrating his allegiance with the members of his Family. Guevara made a surprise appearance, vexed at the fact that Callis hadn’t reached out for the last two months to check if he was okay. Callis tore down Guevara’s ability to be a father, and proceeded to kick him out of the Family, directing an assault by the other members.

Chris Jericho, Darby Allin, and Sting proceeded to make the save, and by the end of the segment Jericho and Guevara hugged. It was only a few months back that Guevara delivered a low blow to Jericho, ending their allegiance and joining Jericho’s rival Callis. Apparently bygones are now bygones, and the pair are together once again.
