RUSH had been inactive in the United States since his Ring Of Honor contract expired at the end of 2021 but the two-time ROH World Champion resurfaced at AEW Double Or Nothing on May 29 with the reveal he is Andrade El Idolo's new business associate.

While he may be in the promotion, RUSH has not signed a full-time contract with AEW and he is currently working for the company on a per-date basis, El Toro Blanco revealed to Lucha Libre Online.

"Grateful with Tony Khan for giving me the opportunity. We are still under talks and negotiations. For now, there are just dates (not a full-time contract). I already did the first jump (step), which is being in the PPV, and not just a segment, but they gave it the value that both RUSH and Andrade have. They left that promo for the end. Nobody expected it, not even my own family," RUSH said.

The La Faccion Ingobernable member also revealed how his AEW debut came together, adding: "The talks were mainly with Andrade. He already had a group, but he didn't feel comfortable (with them). Until he sent me the invitation to be what we were before (Los Ingobernables), but now with an incredible experience we both have."

Since his debut at Double Or Nothing, RUSH has yet to appear inside an AEW arena. That is likely down to Andrade El Idolo's absence from TV due to his recent marriage to WWE's Charlotte Flair.
