Roxanne Perez remains the NXT Women's Champion, at least for the time being.

A vignette aired on the March 28 edition of NXT, during which Perez entered Shawn Michaels' office and revealed to the Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative that she had been cleared for an in-ring return. Michaels initially suggested that Perez vacate her title to provide her with more time to recover but the NXT Women's Champion pleaded to be added to the Ladder Match for the gold at Stand & Deliver. Michaels ultimately relented, adding the former Rok-C to the contest.

Perez revealed on NXT that she had suffered from anxiety and exhaustion after she collapsed following her successful title defence against Meiko Satomura at Roadblock on March 7. Reports noted that Perez was written off TV with the collapse due to an undisclosed medical issue but she was cleared to return to the ring last week.

Along with Perez, Indi Hartwell won a Last Chance Triple Threat against Ivy Nile and Sol Ruca to become the final entrant in the Ladder Match for the NXT Women's Championship at Stand & Deliver. Perez and Hartwell join Zoey Stark, Gigi Dolin, Lyra Valkyria, and Tiffany Stratton in the match.

NXT Stand & Deliver will take place on Saturday, April 1 in Los Angeles, California ahead of night one of WrestleMania 39.
