Ronda Rousey To Choose WrestleMania 38 Opponent On WWE SmackDown
A big choice coming
Feb 1, 2022
Ronda Rousey will choose her WrestleMania 38 opponent on Friday's episode of SmackDown from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Rousey returned to WWE after almost three years away on Saturday, January 29 and she went on to win the Women's Royal Rumble after entering the match at #28.
The former Raw Women's Champion then returned to the red brand on Monday and mentioned the possibility of facing Charlotte Flair or Becky Lynch before she derided Big-Time Becks, noting Lynch isn't worthy of her attention.
The Raw Women's Champion then headed to the ring following more insults and after Lynch pointed out she is the only person to have defeated Rousey in WWE, she demanded the 35-year-old choose her WrestleMania opponent there and then.
Rousey didn't give Lynch the answer she wanted, though, instead taking down the Raw Women's Champion before Ronda announced she would reveal her decision on Friday's SmackDown.
While Rousey vs. Lynch would appear to be the biggest women's match WWE can book for WrestleMania 38, the company reportedly will instead have The Baddest Woman Of The Planet go one-on-one with Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women's Championship in Arlington, Texas.
