A major milestone has finally been hit as Roman Reigns’ time as world champion has reached an astounding 1000 days. The Undisputed WWE Universal Champion climbs to become just the fifth man in WWE history to reach this point during a world title reign, following in the footsteps of legends in Bruno Sammartino, Pedro Morales, Bob Backlund and Hulk Hogan.

It was announced on the most recent episode of Friday Night SmackDown that next week on June 2 would host a celebration to commemorate Reigns on such a historic feat. This could also mark a celebration for Reigns winning the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships too, as he is set to challenge for the gold alongside Solo Sikoa at Night Of Champions 2023 later today against Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens.

During this record-breaking championship run, Reigns has overcome a sea of huge names such as Goldberg, John Cena, Brock Lesnar, Edge, Daniel Bryan, Bray Wyatt, Finn Balor, Braun Strowman, Matt Riddle, Cody Rhodes, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens and more.
