After being signed to WWE as part of the NIL Programme in March 2022, former ROH Women’s World Champion Rok-C made her official WWE debut at the recent NXT Level Up tapings.

Now known as Roxanne Perez, the 20-year old prodigy started her WWE career off with a win, defeating Sloane Jacobs in singles action.

Before WWE, Perez reigned as the inaugural ROH Women’s World Champion, winning the reimagined division’s title in late 2021, successfully defending against Willow Nightingale at ROH Final Battle 2021, the last ROH event before their self-imposed hiatus and subsequent buy out by AEW’s Tony Khan. Perez would later drop the title to IMPACT star and AAA Reina de Reinas Champion Deonna Purrazzo in January, before signing with WWE in March.

A student of Booker T, Perez also worked for Booker’s Reality Of Wrestling promotion, with Booker first hinting that Perez had signed with WWE earlier this year.

Elsewhere at the NXT Level Up tapings Damon Kemp defeated Troy Donovan, and Tatum Paxley defeated Kiana James.
