Roderick Strong is seemingly done with NXT after handing in his resignation on Tuesday's show.

The show featured a segment where Strong and wife Marina Shafir were shown entering the WWE Performance Center. Strong later met with general manager William Regal and handed over an envelope of papers, presumably his notice, and then said he was 'done' in NXT.

Regal would respond by telling Strong that, although he caused headaches as part of The Undisputed Era, he was welcome back to the black-and-gold brand anytime.

Strong has most recently been utilised on NXT as a third wheel in the Kyle O'Reilly vs. Adam Cole rivalry. In his most recent match on NXT, he was beaten by Cameron Grimes, causing him to walk out on the company before he was scheduled to compete in the Gauntlet Eliminator Battle Royal two weeks ago.

A handful of NXT superstars are usually moved to Raw or Smackdown in the aftermath of WrestleMania each year but it remains to be seen if Strong will be joining either the Red or Blue roster.

Strong has been a part of WWE since October 2016, winning the NXT Tag Team and the North American Championships.
