Rocky Romero's AEW Role Revealed

New All Elite Wrestling hire Rocky Romero will be involved with talent development in the promotion. He will also serve as an international liaison for AEW with NJPW and CMLL, according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer.

"Rocky's role is gonna be talent development, so essentially training wrestlers and working with the younger talent, and also international liaison obviously with New Japan and CMLL," Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio.

It emerged earlier this week that Rocky Romero had joined AEW's front office. This is in addition to his behind-the-scenes role with New Japan Pro-Wrestling and his career as a wrestler. Romero remains an active in-ring talent for NJPW, CMLL, and AEW. He also performs in Major League Wrestling and he is the reigning MLW World Middleweight Champion.

All Elite Wrestling have looked to expand their staff numbers since the Summer of 2023. Another new hire is QT Marshall, who will be returning to the promotion after initially departing AEW at the end of 2023. QT will be a Vice President once again and he will assist with talent development.
