Robert Roode Undergoes Neck Fusion Surgery
Roode has been out of action since June

Robert Roode revealed Friday on Instagram that he has undergone fusion surgery on the C5 and C6 vertebrae in his neck, and will begin recovery and rehab.
Roode wrote on Instagram, "Big thank you to Dr Andy Cordover and his amazing staff at @andrews_sports_medicine and St Vincent’s Hospital in Birmingham Alabama. C5/6 fusion is complete. Now the work begins. Recovery and Rehabilitation. Looking forward to the challenge. Thanks @deneane__17. You’re the best."
It is unknown how long Roode will be out of action for. The 46-year-old former NXT champion noted in September that he was undergoing orthopedic treatment.
Roode has not wrestled since June 25, when he took on Omos at a WWE house show in Amarillo, TX. He has not wrestled on TV since participating in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal as part of WrestleMania 38 weekend.
Over the past few years, Roode has teamed with Dolph Ziggler, capturing several of WWE's Tag Team titles. The two were entering into a feud with Omos and MVP at the time of Roode's most recent match.
