Rick Boogs Ahead Of Schedule In Recovery From Injury

Rick Boogs will seemingly be back on WWE TV earlier than expected.

The former Rik Bugez provided an update on his recovery over the weekend and the guitarist revealed he's ahead of schedule on his physical therapy.

"I'm just doing machines at the gym, like a cookie-cutter right now, that's all I can do. I can't use the lower extremity, you know what I'm saying, the horse leg, I've gotta let that puppy heal," Boogs added.

The SmackDown talent also revealed what he keeps in his fanny pack, noting it is full of fig bars.

Boogs has been out of action since he tore his quadricep patella in the opening contest of WrestleMania 38. He and Shinsuke Nakamura challenged The Usos for the SmackDown Tag Team Titles at the event and the match ended shortly after Boogs' injury, with Jimmy and Jey retaining the gold following a 1D to The King Of Strong Style.

Boogs underwent surgery on the tear in the week following The Showcase Of The Immortals.
