Ric Flair Reveals He Is Dealing With Plantar Fasciitis Ahead Of Last Match
An issue for Ric Flair
Jul 20, 2022
Ric Flair is dealing with an injury ahead of his retirement match on July 31 in Nashville, Tennessee.
The 16-time world champion confirmed on Busted Open Radio that he is dealing with plantar fasciitis, which is caused by straining the part of your foot which connects the heel bone to your toes. The injury causes considerable pain on the bottom of your foot, especially when walking.
"I've got plantar fasciitis, if I'm pronouncing that correctly, on the bottom of my foot. Other than that, I am perfect but that damn thing is sore as s**t. I'm at the doctor right now," Flair said.
The issue won't affect Flair in his final match, though, and he revealed he would just "deaden" his foot if he is still dealing with the injury on July 31.
It was revealed on Monday that Flair will team with son-in-law Andrade El Idolo against Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal at Ric Flair's Last Match on July 31 at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium. Other matches announced for the show include The Wolves vs. The Motor City Machine Guns, The Von Erichs vs. The Briscoes, Josh Alexander vs. Jacob Fatu for the IMPACT World Championship, and a Three-Way for the IMPACT Knockouts World Title between Jordynne Grace, Deonna Purrazzo, and Rachael Ellering.
