Ric Flair Didn't Like WWE’s Booking Of Bianca Belair At SummerSlam

Becky Lynch’s WWE return and subsequent squash of SmackDown Women’s Champion Bianca Belair at SummerSlam certainly divided fan opinion, with many saying Belair deserved better after her 133 day reign came to such an unceremonious end.
That sentiment is shared by wrestlers too, with the legendary Nature Boy Ric Flair voicing his displeasure with the angle on Renee Paquette’s Oral Sessions:
"I didn't like it," Flair said "Sometimes, I don't understand what they [WWE] do with anybody, Ashley included. I didn't like it at all. I thought Bianca worked so hard. She's really a nice person. I like her husband, they seem really close. There are a lot of things that make her unique. I was hoping that someday, I think Bianca and Charlotte could be huge one day. Obviously, the two best athletes in the women's division. That's a whole different way of telling a story and building up to the event. Plus, the fact that they can do some stuff that no one else can."
