Rey Mysterio Vs. Finn Balor Announced For 8/8 WWE Raw

A new match has been announced for this coming Monday's episode of WWE Raw, pitting Rey Mysterio against Judgment Day member Finn Balor.

During the final week of July, Rey and son Dominik won a pair of matches over Balor and Damian Priest, first beating them in a standard match on Raw, and then in a No Disqualification match at SummerSlam. In the latter bout, Edge ran interference on behalf of the Mysterios.

This past Monday, Rey and Dominik fell short in a Tag Team title match with The Usos. The Judgment Day attacked the Mysterios after the match, leading to Edge running in for the save. However, during the brawl, Edge accidentally speared Dominik.

Balor already has a singles win over Rey, defeating him on the July 11 episode of Raw.

The current card for this Monday's WWE Raw, taking place at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, includes the following:

* WWE United States: Bobby Lashley vs. Ciampa

* The beginning of the tournament to crown new WWE Women's Tag Team champions (participants TBA)
