All Elite Wrestling held their first pay-per-view of 2024 on Sunday, March 3 as Revolution emanated from the Greensboro Coliseum in North Carolina.

The show was headlined by Sting's retirement match and plenty of people tuned in for The Icon's final bow. According to estimates from Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, it is believed the final pay-per-view buyrate for Revolution 2024 will finish between 170,000 and 176,000 buys. Compared to December's Worlds End show, Revolution was up 26 percent in TV buys and up 25 percent in streaming buys.

Late buys of Revolution 2024 will ultimately make the difference when it comes to the final number for Revolution and whether or not it ends up being AEW's third-biggest pay-per-view in promotion history. All Elite Wrestling's biggest pay-per-views so far are All Out 2021 with 205,000 buys, All In 2023 with 200,000 buys, and 2022's Revolution with 175,000 buys.

Beyond Sting's retirement, other headline matches at Revolution included Samoa Joe vs. Swerve Strickland vs. Hangman Page, Eddie Kingston vs. Bryan Danielson, Will Ospreay vs. Konosuke Takeshita, and an All-Star Scramble with the likes of Wardlow, Chris Jericho, Powerhouse Hobbs, and Lance Archer.
