Report: WWE WrestleMania 38 Plans For Sami Zayn Revealed
Spoilers ahead
Feb 14, 2022
It seems as though Sami Zayn’s issues with Jackass star Johnny Knoxville are set to continue, with reports emerging that the two are set to face off in the ring once more, this time at WrestleMania 38.
The reports come courtesy of Wrestling Observer Radio, with the proposed WrestleMania clash a logical end for a feud that kicked off earlier this year when Knoxville declared he was participating in the Royal Rumble. What’s more, Zayn’s newly won Intercontinental Championship will be on the line, according to Dave Meltzer.
As always, card is subject to change, and with Knoxville in his 50s and having admitted that he suffered a brain haemorrhage whilst filming Jackass Forever, WWE will want to make sure the Jackass icon will be fully fit to perform.
Knoxville and WWE’s relationship goes back to 2007, when Knoxville was set to face Umaga at SummerSlam before the entire programme was cancelled. The Jackass crew would later appear on an episode of Raw, with Knoxville getting on the wrong side of The Great Khali, before their appearances on Raw and at Royal Rumble in 2022.
After their interactions leading up to and including the Royal Rumble, Sami Zayn was later turfed out of the Jackass Forever premier, with Knoxville cattle prodding Zayn as he was escorted off the red carpet.
