Report: WWE SummerSlam 2021 To End Before Manny Pacquiao Vs. Errol Spence Jr. Fight
There are two big events in Las Vegas that night

WWE SummerSlam 2021 will reportedly not be a particularly long show, with the pay-per-view intended to finish before the Manny Pacquiao vs. Errol Spence Jr. fight.
WWE confirmed over the weekend that SummerSlam 2021 will be presented from Saturday, August 21, 2021, at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, with an 8pm ET start time.
The pay-per-view is therefore scheduled to start at the same time as the Pacquiao vs. Errol Spence Jr. event, which is being presented from the MGM Grand, also in Las Vegas.
Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio is reporting, however, that the big boxing match is tentatively scheduled to begin at about 11pm ET, and WWE are planning on having SummerSlam finished just before Pacquiao and Spence Jr begin their fight, so fans are able to watch both.
Meltzer also noted that the Allegiant Stadium always wanted SummerSlam to be on the Saturday night, rather than the traditional Sunday spot for wrestling pay-per-views.
WWE is reportedly targeting a 'WrestleMania-like gate for SummerSlam' to make up for the 25,000 attendance on each night of WrestleMania 37, which is a large aspect of why SummerSlam 2021 is being held in Las Vegas.
