Over WrestleMania 36 weekend, WWE was set to induct Davey Boy Smith, Batista, Jushin "Thunder" Liger, the nWo, The Bella Twins and John "Bradshaw" Layfield into the Hall Of Fame. The event was postponed, however, because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

The British Bulldog's daughter Georgia Smith previously revealed the company hoped to induct everyone over SummerSlam weekend, but the event has been and gone without a Hall Of Fame ceremony. JBL even quipped during the SummerSlam Kickoff Show that he is still a Hall Of Famer-elect.

WrestleVotes recently reported WWE is now planning to induct the 2020 class at WrestleMania 37 as the company wants the ceremony to take place in front of fans. The class of 2021 will also be inducted at the event.

They tweeted: "WWE's plan regarding the 2020 Hall of Fame was to do it at a corresponding PPV once fans returned, ideally SummerSlam. That obviously didn't happen. With no fans until November at the earliest, the plan is now to induct the 2020 class as the class of 2021 during WrestleMania 37."
