Bronson Reed, Bobby Fish, and Mercedes Martinez are just some of a dozen names from NXT and 205 Live that were released from WWE on Friday night, according to numerous updates from Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.
Sapp listed off the following performers as having been let go from WWE:
* Bobby Fish
* Bronson Reed
* Mercedes Martinez
* Jake Atlas
* Ari Sterling
* Kona Reeves
* Leon Ruff
* Stephon Smith
* Tyler Rust
* Zechariah Smith
* Asher Hale

The Australian-born Reed signed with WWE in January of 2019, and reigned as NXT North American champion from May 18 to June 29 of this year. His last match aired on the July 27 episode of NXT, where he lost to the currently-unsigned (at press time) Adam Cole.
Fish was a charter member of The Undisputed Era, in which he twice held the NXT Tag Team championship. He's also a former three-time ROH Tag Team champion with Kyle O'Reilly.
Martinez signed with WWE in January of 2020. Later that year, she became a charter member of Retribution (under the name Retaliation), before quietly leaving the group and returning to NXT.
Ruff, Sterling, Hale, and Atlas had all been regulars on 205 Live in recent months.
