Will Johnny Gargano remain with WWE?
Past reports have noted that Johnny Gargano's WWE contract is set to expire soon, with the former NXT Champion's deal up on December 3, 2021.
Negotiations between WWE and Gargano over a new contract have since begun but Johnny Wrestling has yet to sign a new deal, according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
WWE are "pushing very hard" to re-sign Gargano and they have made him "a very strong offer" regardless, but if Gargano will be a WWE Superstar come December 4 remains to be seen.
Gargano has been a major part of WWE NXT since he debuted on the developmental brand back in 2015 and he went on to become the first NXT Triple Crown Champion, having held the NXT Title, North American Championship and NXT Tag Team Title.
Gargano isn't the only WWE star with their contract expiring. Kyle O'Reilly's deal with WWE is due to expire in December 2021, while former Universal Champion Kevin Owens' contract will expire on January 31, 2022, unless he signs a new deal.
