WWE reportedly had no plans to move Mandy Rose to the main roster before her release from the company on December 14.

Rose had been a top star on NXT since she rejoined the developmental brand in the summer of 2021 and she went on to form Toxic Attraction with Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne. The group was dominant on Tuesday nights, with Rose holding the NXT Women's Title while Dolin and Jayne had two reigns as NXT Women's Tag Team Champions.

WWE didn't plan to replicate that success on the main roster, however, and Dave Meltzer reported that WWE planned to move Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne to Raw or SmackDown without Mandy Rose.

"The plan was to bring them up to the main roster, you know, without [Rose] anyway. They weren't ready when they first brought them up in the ring, but they're getting there and the act itself is a good act," Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio.

Dolin and Jayne did have two matches on Friday Night SmackDown in the summer of 2022 but they have not appeared on the main roster since. Toxic Attraction made their first appearance on NXT since Rose's release earlier this week.

Rose was let go by WWE in December, only one day after she dropped the NXT Women's Championship to Roxanne Perez. WWE reportedly released Rose due to what they considered explicit content on her FanTime page that was deemed to be outside the parameters of her contract.
