A new report from Fightful Select claims that WWE has informed talent that they will no longer require COVID testing.

The report states that talents at the Performance Center were informed this past weekend that they are no longer required for twice-a-week testing, which had previously been mandatory. Main roster talents have been told that weekly testing is no longer required.

It is not currently known if there is any sort of "vaccination qualifier" to this or not.

Fightful's report states, "This ruling didn't sit well with several within the company that Fightful heard from on Monday, considering how short-handed the company is with COVID infections as is."

WWE has been inundated with COVID issues over the preceding week. Sunday's house shows in New York City and Tampa were subject to several notable changes, including Edge flying into the New York show to face Kevin Owens in a cage match, while a Becky Lynch/Bianca Belair Raw Women's title match never took place. Seth Rollins was scheduled for the Raw main event, but has revealed to have tested positive for COVID. Roman Reigns was absent from the Tampa card.

A PWInsider report states that a number of producers are not at tonight's Raw due to COVID protocols.
