For over three months now, WWE has broadcasted Raw, SmackDown, and pay-per-views from Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, FL, home of Major League Baseball's Tampa Bay Rays.

With the Rays hosting their home opener at Tropicana on Friday, April 9, WWE is going to have to find a new venue to host those events.

According to a report from Jon Alba of Spectrum Sports 360, WWE is expected to move those operations to the Yuengling Center in Tampa, on the campus of the University of South Florida.

The venue was home to the 1995 Royal Rumble (when it still called the USF Sun Dome).

It's not clear when the move would take place, or how long residency would be had there.

It's also not known if WWE would maintain its ThunderDome set-up for the venue, or if they would begin admitting fans into events.

Alba added, "...multiple people said travel is booked through Tampa going forward for the immediate future."

After first moving Raw, SmackDown, and pay-per-views to their Performance Center one year ago, WWE eventually took up residence in Orlando's Amway Center, shortly before last year's SummerSlam. As NBA season drew near in December, WWE vacated the building and moved operations to Tropicana Field.
