Report: WWE Considering Change To Hall Of Fame Format
Are changes coming?
Mar 9, 2022
WWE are considering making changes to the WWE Hall Of Fame ceremony, according to a new report.
The plans for the 2022 ceremony would see a considerable amount of the 90-minute show dedicated to The Undertaker which means it might not be possible to induct everyone during the live show.
As a result, some inductees could be inducted digitally, according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Radio.
"Undertaker is going to get the big grand treatment and then I would presume Vader probably will...but a lot of the other guys, there's been talk of, again with the 90 minutes, not even doing a ceremony but just doing it digitally," Meltzer said.
The WWE Hall Of Ceremony is currently scheduled to air live from 10:30 pm ET until midnight on Friday, April 1. The ceremony will be taped following that night's edition of WWE SmackDown from the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.
Along with The Undertaker, Vader will be inducted into the WWE Hall OF Fame. Reports have also noted that Psycho Sid is under consideration.
