Vince McMahon is back and he's been making changes to WWE TV.

The WWE Executive Chairman had been on medical leave from WWE since he underwent spinal surgery in July but McMahon has resumed working remotely for WWE, with Dave Meltzer reporting on Wrestling Observer Radio that McMahon made "significant changes" to the September 11 edition of Raw on Monday. Paul "Triple H" Levesque also made his own changes to Raw and the switches were said to be "probably for the better."

"Vince McMahon is back. He made multiple changes to the show tonight. There were also multiple changes made by Levesque at the last minute. A lot of stuff wasn't advertised on the show, like most of it, and the reason is they were changing all day long. Vince is back, Vince made significant changes to the show... All I heard is they were probably changes for the better but there was many of them," Meltzer said.

Fightful Select also noted that Raw and Main Event plans "changed several times over." Zoey Stark vs. Natalya was originally scheduled for Main Event but the match was pulled, with Viking Raiders vs. Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander being added to the pre-Raw taping instead. Cody Rhodes, meanwhile, was scheduled to open Raw but The American Nightmare was switched out for Jey Uso.

Vince McMahon was not physically present at Monday's Raw, with Triple H and Bruce Prichard running the taping. PWInsider also reported the script for Raw wasn't finalised until 5 pm ET. Raw goes on the air at 8 pm ET.

Vince McMahon has been in charge of WWE creative again since the announcement of WWE's sale to Endeavor on April 3. Triple H briefly resumed control of creative while McMahon was on medical leave but, as mentioned, McMahon is now back and in control of WWE's TV product.

UPDATE: Vince McMahon may have returned from medical leave earlier than first thought, with reports having since revealed that McMahon made minor changes to the September 9 edition of Friday Night SmackDown.
