Report: Update On WWE WrestleMania Battle Royals
The Men’s and Women’s Battle Royals are rumoured to be returning

We are several weeks away from the two night WrestleMania 38, and there are still several matches to be announced for the event.
Two WrestleMania staples are still yet to be confirmed for the show; the Men’s Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, and the Women’s WrestleMania Battle Royal, and Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has reported on their status for 2022.
Meltzer wrote that he believes both are to return once more, although neither have yet been announced. Similar to 2021, the Andre the Giant Battle Royal is believed to be scheduled for the SmackDown prior to Mania, whilst as of two weeks ago the Women’s Battle Royal will be pencilled in for Mania itself - the first Women’s WrestleMania Battle Royal since 2019.
The 2021 Andre Battle Royal was won by Jey Uso on the SmackDown preceding WrestleMania 37, with the match last occurring at WrestleMania at Mania 35 with Braun Strowman emerging victorious.
The Women’s WrestleMania Battle Royal first took place at WrestleMania 34 and was won by Naomi, and last occurred at WrestleMania 35 where Carmella left with the trophy.
