Report: Update On Stu Grayson's AEW Status Following October Return
Stu Grayson returned to AEW in October
Dec 19, 2022
2022 has seen the Dark Order disintegrate, with Colt Cabana going AWOL, Preston Vance defecting to La Faccion Igobernable, and Stu Grayson exiting AEW altogether in May.
Grayson did return to the group for one night in October, when the Dark order co-founder reunited with his former stablemates during AEW’s Canadian debut. Grayson’s long-time tag partner Evil Uno recently spoke with Fightful, and confirmed that Grayson is not back in AEW but remains on good terms with the promotion.
Uno continued, stating that Grayson is currently concentrating more on teaching than wrestling, and has made a concerted effort to pay more attention to his private life.
Grayson and Uno joined AEW in 2019, debuting at Double or Nothing, forming the Dark Order after a post-match attack on The Hybrid 2 and Best Friends. Before AEW, Grayson and Uno - more commonly known as The Super Smash Brothers on the independent circuit - were mainstays of PWG and CHIKARA, and also wrestled for the likes of ROH and Dragon Gate USA.
