On the June 15 episode of Monday Night Raw, Ric Flair returned to WWE TV and was quickly inserted into a program as Randy Orton's manager. The two friends worked together to defeat Christian as Flair shockingly Low Blowed Captain Charisma and their partnership has continued to develop during The Viper's feud with The Big Show.

Flair might not be on Monday nights for much longer, however, as Paul Davis at WrestlingNews.co reported the 16-time world champion will be written off WWE TV soon.

Davis noted Flair's run as Orton's manager was always supposed to be short term, as Vince McMahon asked The Dirtiest Player In The Game to return because the boss wanted as much star power on Raw as possible to combat declining ratings.

While Flair's return seemingly provided a short-term boost, as viewership rose to 1.939 million viewers on June 15, ratings have declined since June 29 and Raw recorded the lowest rating in the show's history on July 13 as the episode only averaged 1.561 million viewers.
