Report: Reason Why Andre Battle Royal Was Bumped From WWE WrestleMania 37
The seventh edition of the battle royal will air on SmackDown instead

After a hiatus in 2020, The Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal returns this year, but it won’t be taking place on either night of WrestleMania 37.
It was previously announced by WWE that the seventh edition of the battle royal will instead take place on a post-mania edition of SmackDown, and reports from Wrestling Observer Radio have given some clarification as to why the match has been bumped.
Apparently, the move was made to shorten the run time of the two-night WrestleMania, with WWE apparently wanting to keep each night at a run time of around 3.5 hours.
The Andre Battle Royal is not the only match to bumped from WrestleMania to SmackDown, with a four-way SmackDown Tag Title match between champions Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode, The Street Profits, Alpha Academy, and Rey Mysterio & Dominik Mysterio also allegedly moved from Mania to SmackDown.
As for the Andre Battle Royal itself, announced participants include Akira Tozawa, Angel Garza, Cedric Alexander, Drew Gulak, Elias, Erik, Gran Metalik, Humberto Carrillo, Jaxson Ryker, Jey Uso, Kalisto, King Baron Corbin, Lince Dorado, Mace, Murphy, Mustafa Ali, Ricochet, Shelton Benjamin, Shinsuke Nakamura, Slapjack, T-BAR, and Tucker.
