Following Clash Of Champions, Roman Reigns offered Jey Uso a rematch at Hell In A Cell as part of his quest to be recognised as the tribal chief. The six-time WWE Tag Team Champion accepted The Big Dog's challenge and the cousins will go one on one inside the steel structure on October 25.
Jey Uso revealed during a recent appearance on Cheap Heat with Peter Rosenberg that the feud was originally scheduled to conclude at Clash Of Champions and he was only supposed "to get Roman to the next homie."
WWE ultimately decided to prolong the feud, however.
The company's original plan for Hell In A Cell has seemingly been revealed. Paul Davis of WrestlingNews.co reported Reigns was scheduled to defend the Universal Title against "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt inside the steel structure. This is why Wyatt debuted the Wobby Walrus puppet on September 11, but the character hasn't been seen since and the former Universal Champion was drafted to the red brand on Monday.
