It hasn't taken very long for Triple H to put his own stamp on WWE TV since becoming head of creative in July. The Game has brought back several former talents, including the likes of Karrion Kross, Bray Wyatt, Braun Strowman, Johnny Gargano, and Tegan Nox. The WWE Chief Content Officer has also scrapped one of the company's titles in the 24/7 Championship.

The 24/7 Title was retired back on the November 7 edition of Monday Night Raw when Nikki Cross tried to put the belt in the bin. She ultimately missed but did not turn around to retrieve it and the title hasn't been seen since. This came after months of the title not being featured on TV, with the traditional 24/7 Championship chase scenes completely absent from the company's programming.

According to Fightful Select, the new WWE regime didn't give much time to the undercard title, with a source noting the strap "was almost never mentioned in a creative sense, but allowed for some fun moments for live event shows. The future of the title seemed to be up in the air and it wasn't something that we heard Triple H ever talked about."

The 24/7 Championship was established back in May 2019 by Mick Foley. It was often featured in comedy segments on the main roster, primarily with R-Truth.
