Matt Riddle reportedly sitting out WWE house shows

Matt Riddle has reportedly been pulled from WWE house shows.
The report comes via PWInsider, but does not divulge why WWE have seemingly decided to pull the ‘Original Bro’ from live events. However, with Riddle being taken out on a stretcher on the December 5 edition of Raw, it appears that WWE are just adhering to kayfabe.
Riddle last wrestled on the December 5 WWE Raw, teaming with Kevin Owens to take on the combined Raw and SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos. After suffering defeat to the champs, Riddle was attacked by The Bloodline’s enforcer Solo Sikoa who hit Riddle with a Samoan Spike, with Riddle later complaining of neck issues as he was taken away to a ‘local medical facility’.
Recently, Riddle has been teaming with Elias against the IMPERIUM team of Giovanni Vinci and Ludwig Kaiser on WWE’s house show loop, with Riddle and Elias getting the win over the IMPERIUM duo on December 3 and December 4. In October and November, Riddle was competing for the US Title on the house show loop, wrestling alongside Seth Rollins, Austin Theory, Bobby Lashley, and Mustafa Ali.
