Report: Matt Hardy's WWE Contract Expires In February 2020; Both Sides In Talks
What's next for the Broken Universe?

Matt Hardy wrestled his first match on a weekly TV show in close to eight months this past week, when the 45-year old, 27-year veteran star lost to Buddy Murphy on Monday Night Raw.
Despite making an unexpected comeback this week, Hardy's future with WWE is uncertain, according to a report from
PWInsider.
Hardy, who in recent weeks has been posting videos under the "Free the Delete" header, is reportedly in talks with WWE about his future with the company. According to the report, his contract is due to expire this coming February.
The report claims that money isn't the issue with these negotiations, but rather Hardy's usage as a performer going forward is.
At 45, Hardy may be signing his last contract with a major promotion as an active wrestler, and he's reportedly being very cautious, as he doesn't want to spend the duration of his next deal just putting other guys over.
The recent social media activity from Hardy is apparently his way of preparing for a return to life outside of WWE, should negotiations fall through.
The contract of brother Jeff Hardy isn't likely to expire at the same time, due to the likelihood of time being added on due to injuries.
