Report: Major Spot Scrapped Before WWE Raw
WWE completely changed a Raw match this week.

A major spot was scrapped over the weekend prior to this week's Raw, according to a tweet from WrestleVotes:
"Over the course of the past week, there was an idea for a collapsing ring angle during the cage match tonight on RAW w/ Omos & Lashley. I’ve heard that idea got squashed over the weekend. Good. It’s way overplayed."
The match did however feature a noteworthy moment, as Omos threw Lashley through the side of the cage, allowing the former WWE Champion to win via escape.
This appears to give Lashley the edge in their feud, having beaten Omos at WrestleMania 38 but lost at WrestleMania Backlash. However, the strange nature of last night's finish could lead to another rematch. Although nothing has been mentioned onscreen, it's worth noting that the next WWE PPV is Hell in a Cell on June 5 - an opportunity to escalate the feud further in terms of stipulation, should WWE wish.
MVP tried to interfere on Omos' behalf, as he did at Backlash, while Lashley's former Hurt Business stablemate Cedric Alexander also tried to help Omos win.
