Lacey Evans seemingly won't be wrestling for another promotion, at least in the near future.
Evans departed WWE this week, with it emerging on August 16 the former Sassy Southern Belle was gone from the company. Evans initially teased her WWE departure and she was soon moved to the alumni section on WWE.com. The former Marine was not released by WWE and she left the company reportedly after her contract expired.
Outside of teasing setting up an OnlyFans, Evans has been quiet about her future. According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, though, Evans right now is focused on opening a new café. There are few details about the café.
Evans spent seven years in WWE, signing with the company in 2016 following five years in the United States Marine Corps. She looked set to be established as a top talent in the women's division, moving straight into a title feud after she was called up to the main roster in 2019.
Evans went through a number of gimmicks and characters, including one where she became the love interest of Ric Flair. Her most recent character saw her portray an ex-Marine, tapping into her past.
