Jack Perry will be losing some money due to his suspension from All Elite Wrestling.

Speaking on The HUMP, Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp reported that Jack Perry is taking a 'financial hit' from his suspension.

"I think there's going to be a significant amount of money missed out from him because it is either without pay or with a fine...I just know he's taking a financial hit," Sean Ross Sapp said.

Perry was suspended following a backstage altercation with CM Punk at All In on Sunday, August 27. Perry and Punk were suspended shortly after the altercation pending an investigation into what happened backstage at Wembley Stadium. Punk has since been fired with cause by All Elite Wrestling, while Tony Khan confirmed following All Out that Perry was suspended for an indefinite period of time.

"He's been suspended indefinitely. We've suspended everybody in that investigation and took further action after that based on what happened and came out of the investigation. We suspended Jack as a participant in an incident backstage, and Jack hasn't been around. That's all I can say about it. At the time, we did suspend him and he hasn't been at AEW since AEW All In," Khan said during the post-All Out media scrum.

The altercation between Punk and Perry occurred after Perry said, "It's real glass. Go cry me a river" during his All In Zero Hour match against HOOK. The comments were in reference to a backstage argument that Punk and Perry had earlier in the summer over Perry wanting to use real glass for a segment on AEW Collision. The real glass spot had reportedly been approved by AEW but CM Punk decided to block it anyway, with the Second City Saint effectively operating as the sheriff of AEW Collision at the time.

There have been differing accounts about what occurred during the backstage altercation. A neutral party, however, stated that Punk went nose-to-nose with Perry in an aggressive manner after Perry returned to the back after his match with HOOK. Punk asked if they had a problem and Perry said he was just trying to get heel heat. Punk then shoved Perry and the former Jungle Boy got in Punk's face. Punk then sucker-punched Perry and went to choke him when the altercation was broken up.

Punk reportedly went for Tony Khan immediately after the altercation, with the AEW CEO having since publicly announced that he feared for his life at All In because of CM Punk's actions.
