Report: Candy Cartwright Drops Sexual Assault Lawsuit Against WWE's Riddle
The lawsuit was filed in October 2020

Independent wrestler Candy Cartwright has reportedly dropped her sexual assault lawsuit against WWE superstar Riddle.
TMZ Sports is reporting that court documents show that Cartwright - real name Samantha Tavel - filed to dismiss the lawsuit against Riddle on Monday.
It is uncertain if the two parties reached a monetary settlement, with John Chwarzynski, Cartwright's attorney, telling TMZ: "The parties have put this in their past and are focused on the future."
Cartwright had alleged that Riddle has sexually assaulted her during a van ride in 2018. The lawsuit also alleges that Riddle had bragged about this to former Evolve owner Gabe Sapolsky and that they and WWE tacitly approved of Riddle's alleged behaviour towards Cartwright.
Tavel filed a lawsuit against EVOLVE Wrestling, Gabe Sapolsky, Riddle, and World Wrestling Entertainment in October 2020, seeking $10 million from each defendant. WWE and Sapolsky were dismissed from the lawsuit in March 2021, but Riddle's attempt to dismiss was denied.
Riddle's attorney has declined to comment on the file to dismissal. Riddle has denied all allegations of sexual assault but did admit to having an affair with Cartwright.
